Empalot's project confirms its contextual anchoring at all scales, from intimate space to large landscape, through 3 themes: light, shadow and reflection.

Plot MG3 is located south of the historic centre of Toulouse, on the right bank of the Garonne, opposite the island of Ramier. The program includes 110 housing units, 20 of which are dedicated to social accession. The ground floor of the program is occupied by 3 business premises and a Club House assigned to the adjoining sports ground. The R+12 and R+5 volumes as well as the location of the buildings on the plot perpendicular to the Garonne River allow for the best view of the surrounding landscape. To the south and west, facing the stadium and the Garonne river, the accommodation is extended by 2m deep balconies, these spaces being real "extra outdoor rooms". A shading system in expanded aluminium, overhanging the balconies, qualifies the luminous atmosphere and contributes to the climatic comfort of the outside spaces. The project is intended to be rational and light. The main colours are white and grey, colours that underline the desire to play on contrasts and the play of light and shade. The front and rear gardens are in dialogue with the architecture of the buildings. A landscaped and arranged roof-top allows the inhabitants to meet and contemplate the landscape from the top of this collective belvedere.
